Greetings! Did someone say game?

Hello fellow Serpents of Old fans!
Greetings! I am Dreamfollower, a new admin ^^ Please treat me kindly! Im a dedicated fan of the wonderful Heather's SoO and have high hopes for both her wonderful comic and her in the future! I dont bite so feel free to approach me about anything. Except spoilers. I'm not giving away spoilers. Not that I know a whole bunch but I may know one or two lol Anywho (I was gonna wait to reveal this bit Im just so gawsh darn excited after talking with Heather I cant refrain myself)


I bring with me good news that I think you will all be quite excited to hear!

As part my art studies, I have just publicly released my first game and I have been discussing games with our dear Heather!
After much discussion its been decided that in the future Heather and I will be working together to make a Serpents of Old game!
As for now there are no set dates to begin working on the game and it will take quite a long time I imagine so don't go getting all riled up just yet. Sorry for bursting that bubble.
BUT
I can tell you guys this much.
It will likely be a VN (maybe pixel rpg? tbc) styled based game or something of the sort and there will be multiple characters for you to choose from and follow their side of the story.
And heres the best part. THE PLAYABLE CHARACTERS WILL BE YOUR SoO OC'S!
You will be able to step in to the shoes of your own character or one of the other lovely OC's and go more in depth into their story and where they fit in in it all. A game based around your OC and the others! How awesome is that!?
Also this is not excluded to only the OC's that we currently have. If, or shall I say wen, other OC's are added to the list, they will eventually be a part of the game also.

The idea for the game came about when (if I remember correctly) Heather mentioned how shes wanted to do something like a flash comic of something of the sort, where you can create your own character for SoO and then they're fit into the story and you play/read through it. So basically kinda what we are already doing with the whole "create your own OC " thing. But that would be kinda tricky to pull of as a game unless you have pre-made backgrounds and personalities for characters for you to choose from.
So instead I thought why not use OC's designed for the comic rather than creating ones in the game! Not only does this make it more personal in way and the charecters more unique and varried, but if someone wants to create a character to play then they will have to draw and design the character themselves which also means they will have to check out the ACTUAL comic themselves!

So's I had a few people respond pretty positively to the idea of their OC's makin an appearance in "Serpents of Old" as background characters, so on and so forth. So I'm gonna go ahead and do it! I'm always lookin for filler characters... so you can choose more than one OC! 
Let's go over some guidelines!


I will use your OC when I need it-- and I won't rush it or force it in the comic. Benefits for you? Like I said I will point attention to your character and link your profile in my Comment Box Your OC's won't have major roles and may not ever even interact with the main cast... so please don't get disappointed or upset with me if they only make a short appearance! After all this is my story n not a crossover, RP world XD. Like I said before I will havta alter the OCs a lil bit to be able to fit in with my people (cuz in the story anyone who is a different species, well... it's kinda a big deal in their society )
You can have         New Feature! Personal LacorsHey y'all! I want to thank you again for joining the group-- as the number slowly climbs up so does my enthusiasm to continue! If I can get at least as many members n watchers for the group as I have my my personal account I would be one happy camper!
SO! with the very latest page comes the first really good look at the Serpent Horse known as "Lacor." The question was asked "can our characters have one?".... my answer is... I don't see why not!

But here are some guidelines:
- Lacor are typically green and eyes are always yellow like they are in the pages (it is very rare that they are a color other than that... so if ya wanted a different color I'm thinkin' you would havta message me privately so we can discuss which ones-- there are a couple colors I can't allow )
- You can customize your Lacor with subtle ways as you notice the two in the latest page do look different from each other, and of course you can add accessories to

You can have             Anniversary Month Approaching!Hello, beautiful people! Well this is another "Serpents of Old" related journal-- it IS my life, afterall.
The month of July is almost here.. and since I can't remember the exact DAY I first drew Hizruk.. I'm dedicating the whole month to my anniversary with him and "Serpents of Old" in general . Almost 9 years since I first created that boy and started all this. CRAZY, right??
So! Some friends of mine told me I should do this, and I've always wanted to anyway... but in honor of Anniversary month I'll be doing as many "Question and Answer" mini comic strips as I can in between regular updates!
Feel free to ask any cast member anything you want! And they'll answer you in THEIR own  words, not mine. I already have one I'm dying to get to XD
